All-Around Beef Rub

This rub combines the flavors of sweet and heat. You can adjust the heat by using mild or medium chili powder. If you really want to make spice it up, then add an extra tablespoon of cayenne.

Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup kosher salt
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup coarsely ground black pepper

Preparation
In a bowl combine all the ingredients, blending well. Store at room temperature in airtight container. Make sure to remix before each use. Use on steaks, pork and chicken.
